A man who used to drive really powerful cars for a short amount of time has confirmed
he will once again drive a really powerful car, but for a really long time.
So welcome back to the world of motorsport,  Sebastian Vettel . Only now, the four-time
Formula One world champion and finger-pointing extraordinaire will be driving with a
roof over his head. He’s been confirmed as  Porsche ’s test driver for its little outing in the
963 hypercar next week.
Vettel will do a 36-hour long run at Spain’s 5.345km Aragón circuit to give the 670bhp
closed cockpit endurance racer a full shakedown as part of Porsche’s preparations for
the 2024 Le Mans 24hr race.
Unsurprisingly, Vettel – a racing driver, don’t forget – was looking forward to testing the
Porsche 963. “I’m looking forward to testing the Porsche 963,” he said. “I already got the
chance to get a feel for the car during a rollout in Weissach.
